Siamo a Glasgow, alla “Worldcon for the future”, come dice il motto della convention. Provvederemo nei prossimi giorni a fare un reportage di quanto abbiamo visto – una minima parte, essendo il programma della convention enorme con centinaia di eventi – e a postare qualche foto.

Intanto questa sera assisteremo alla cerimonia dei Premi Hugo. Tenete d'occhio questa pagina, perché cercheremo di aggiornarla man mano che i vincitori saranno annunciati.

intanto, la mattina di domenica la WSFS ha annunciato il risultato del voto per l’assegnazione della Worldcon 2026. Era in corsa solo Los Angeles, che ha vinto con oltre il 90% dei voti. Quindi 2025 Seattle, 2026 Los Angeles. Per gli anni successivi ci sono candidature in preparazione da Montreal in Canada, Tel Aviv in Israele, una candidatura dell’Uganda e Dublino per il 2029. Canada e Irlanda hanno buone possibilità, ma saranno comunque votate nei prossimi anni.
