I Golden Globes ci riprovano. Dopo il disastro che li ha coinvolti negli anni scorsi, con gli scandali che hanno riguardato la Hollywood Foreign Press Association che li organizzava, con una nuova gestione e una giuria più larga provano a riconquistare il prestigio perduto. Nella notte la cerimonia, trasmessa in tv dalla CBS.

Il vincitore di questa edizione è Oppenheimer,  il film di Christopher Nolan – vincitore lui stesso come miglior regista, che oltre ai premi per film e regia porta a casa anche quelli per miglior attore e miglior attore non protagonista.

Bene anche Povere creature!, film fantastico di Yorgos Lanthimos che vince come miglior commedia e migliore attrice.

Pochi riscontri per il fantastico nelle categorie dedicate alle serie dove Last of Us raccoglie solo qualche nomination.

Da segnalare anche la curiosa nuova categoria dedicata al film che ha incassato di più, vinta ovviamente da Barbie.
